Bradley County Jail Earns TCI Certification With Zero Deficiences

  • Thursday, March 20, 2025

Sheriff Steve Lawson is proud to announce that Bradley County Jail has once again passed the annual Tennessee Corrections Institute (TCI) inspection with zero deficiencies. This marks the second consecutive year that the facility has met all state standards without any issues.

TCI conducts annual inspections to ensure jails across the state comply with strict operational and safety standards. Receiving a zero-deficiency report is a significant accomplishment, demonstrating our agency’s ongoing commitment to excellence in corrections.

Sheriff Lawson credits this achievement solely to the hard work, dedication and professionalism of the jail officers and staff saying,

“This certification is a direct reflection of the commitment our team demonstrates every single day.

Running a facility that meets and exceeds state standards is no small task, and it wouldn’t be possible without the diligence and professionalism of our corrections staff. They ensure the safety and well-being of not only the inmates but also our entire community.”

We want to share extreme appreciation for the team’s continued efforts and emphasize that maintaining this high standard remains a top priority for Bradley County Sheriff’s Office.
