Jim Greeson with his new book, Road Trip
Chattanooga native Jim Greeson has released his most recent book titled Road Trip. It is the fifth book he has published.
The book highlights some of the favorite road trips he and his wife have enjoyed in the past 25 years. They have visited all of the states in the continental United States and eight of the 10 provinces of Canada. They try to build their trips around our National Parks, other well known attractions, and off-the-beaten path spots they discover along the way. They especially enjoy lighthouses, covered bridges, mountain vistas, and the rugged coastal areas along the east and west coasts. Each trip highlighted in the book is accompanied by photos from his personal collection.
Mr. Greeson said he hopes reading about their travel experiences will inspire others to get out and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation.
Mr. Greeson was born and raised in the East Brained community of Chattanooga. He is a 1964 graduate of Tyner High School, a U.S. Army veteran, and holds three degrees from Tennessee Tech University. He is a retired career educator with over 50 years experience as a teacher, coach, school principal, statewide educational consultant, university adjunct professor, and facilitator for school board training.
