Calvin "Cal" Marshall
Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. announces shareholder Cal Marshall is the health care practice group's new section chair. He succeeds Doug Griswold, who previously served in the leadership position.

Mr.
Marshall advises health care and business clients on regulatory compliance and transactional matters. He works with revenue cycle management companies, medical practices, startups, publicly traded companies and nonprofits on issues including HIPAA, data privacy, telemedicine, Medicare enrollment, fraud and compliance, contract negotiation and mergers and acquisitions, among many others. As a former aide to several members of the U.S. House of Representatives, he has a unique background in health care policy and government oversight and provides strategic and practical guidance to clients nationwide, officials said.

Mr. Marshall has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch for corporate governance and compliance law, corporate law, health care law and privacy and data security. He is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and a member of the Chattanooga, Tennessee and American Bar Associations. Mr. Marshall serves as chair of the American Bar Association Health Care Section's The Health Lawyer editorial board and as vice chair of the Interest Group and Task Force Executive Leadership Team. Additionally, he is a member of the American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Publishing Oversight and a member of the American Health Law Association and American Telemedicine Association. Mr. Marshall graduated magna cum laude from Covenant College before earning his degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Tennessee.
