The Covenant College men's golf team was scheduled to play 36 holes Monday at the Cleveland State Invitational. However, severe weather in the morning changed the event to 18 holes.
Hosted at the Ooltewah Club, Covenant placed fifth out of 12 schools with a team-score of 13-over par.
Drew Silman led Covenant on the leaderboard, finishing second at one-under par, 68. The round of 68 ties the school record for lowest 18-hole score.
Next best finisher for the Scots aws Titus Cooke who placed 21st with a round of four-over par, 73.
Freshman Ayden Cordell continued to produce for the Scots, placing tied 26th with a score of five-over par, 74.
Also finishing tied 26th with a score of five-over par, 74, was Grant Little.
Bo Luff finished tied-35th for the Scots after shooting six-over par, 75.
The Scots also sent out a "B" team that finished 11th and were led by Wiley Hickerson who shot three-over par, 72, to place tied 16th.
Isaac Randolph (T59th, +13), Zach Holmund (61st, +14), and Jonathan Brezina (63rd, +17) also played for the "B" team.
Covenant competes in the CCS Championship April 28-30 at Dalton Country Club.
