Boyd Buchanan Senior Wins Cherokee District Good Citizens Essay Contest

The Nancy Ward Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) honored Emily Thomae, a senior at Boyd Buchanan School, as the Cherokee District Good Citizens Essay Contest winner.

Ms. Thomae was selected as the Nancy Ward Chapter winner and went on to win at the district level.

This essay contest requires the applicant write an essay in a two hour timed and supervised setting having received the subject of the essay at the beginning of the timed session.
