Leona York Chadwick
Leona York Chadwick, 92, of Signal Mountain, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025 at home.
She was a native of Mentone, Al. She was born to the late William M. and Laura A. Swanson York.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Berlis J. Chadwick; four sisters; and three brothers.
Survivors include four daughters: Kay (Bob) Hobgood, Shelley (Jack) Deaton, Jan Chadwick Rubio and Amy (Cary) Gibson; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous family and friends.
Family and friends will gather between 10 a.m. and noon on Friday, April 18, at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415.
A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. in Fischer Cemetery on Lookout Mountain, Ft. Payne, Al.
