Baylor School sophomore first base/catcher Blake Lundy was awarded Mr. Baseball for Division II Class AA in a morning ceremony held at Family Worship Center.
Lundy, hit .444 at the dish and hit 15 home runs and drove in 41 runs as they were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the baseball playoffs in 2025.
"There have been a lot of great players here before me and I'm just trying to follow in their footsteps. We have a great group of guys coming back, we just have to get to work in the lab and attempt to get close to a championship," Lundy said after winning the award.
Lundy had an OPS of 1.577 and has several Division I offers to play college baseball.
"We'll just have to sit down and go over things and take some visits with my family," Lundy explained about the recruiting process.
