Regan Rowan is a senior member of the Soddy Daisy softball team who was playing her final home game on Friday afternoon, so she wanted to be sure to have a memorable performance and to do what she could to help her team win so they could advance to next week’s Spring Fling state championship in Murfreesboro. Chattanooga got on the board first but couldn’t hold off a Florida State late inning rally, falling 3-2 to the 15-seed Seminoles on their home field Friday in Tallahassee. After getting off to a late start due to the Auburn-UCF game running long, it took four innings before either team got on the board.
