Lee University’s School of Religion is welcoming three new faculty to its ranks: Lilian Dube-Chirairo, Thomas Doolittle, and Rolando Cuellar.
Dr. Lilian Dube-Chirairo joins the Theology Department from London. She received her Doctor of Theology from the University of Stellenbosch, Cape Town, South Africa, her Master of Sacred Theology from Union Theological Seminary and her Master and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Zimbabwe.
Prior to her position at Lee, Dube-Chirairo was a visiting lecturer at the University of Birmingham (UK). She has also taught at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, University of Zimbabwe, Christian College of South Africa and the United Theological College, Harare.
Dr. Rolando Cuellar is also joining the religion department as an Assistant Professor of Intercultural Studies. Cuellar received his Ph.D. and Master of Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, his Master of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary, and his bachelor’s degrees from Seminario Latino Internacional (Panama) and Lee College.
Cuellar is currently pastor of the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in Illinois and serves the Presbytery as contact person for Hispanic ministries and intercultural matters. He is a radio pastor for “Linea Biblia” on Moody Radio. Cuellar is also a past National Director of Youth and Christian Education for the Church of God in Peru.
Dr. Thomas Doolittle is an ordained minister in the Church of God and has pastored in Alaska, Georgia and Kentucky. He joins Lee University’s faculty as Assistant Professor of Pastoral Studies. He received his Ph.D. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, his Master of Divinity and Master of Arts from the Church of God Theological Seminary and his B.A. from Lee.
Doolittle has been a practicum supervisor for the Church of God Theological Seminary, a visiting professor at Han Young Theological University in Seoul, Korea, and a Garrett Teaching Fellow at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has also worked as a classroom teacher, an assistant principal and a school administrator.
