Owner Of Karl's Restaurant Pleads Guilty In Prostitution Case

Karl Clifton Koeninger, owner of Karl's Family Restaurant on Hixson Pike, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of patronizing a prostitute.

The incident happened on July 1 when Koeninger approached an undercover police officer.

He was given a 6-month suspended sentence in the appearance before General Sessions Court Judge Mike Carter.

He also had to pay a $50 fine and court costs.

The charge will go off his record after a year if he gets in no further trouble.
