Do you tire of trying to put together a nutritious meal after a long day at work? Do you sometimes host a dinner party that is hard to enjoy because you are bogged down in the kitchen? Have you ever hosted a business luncheon and wanted to impress your customers with a wonderful meal?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions then the BIG table is your savior. You may pick up a healthy, delicious, home cooked meal at the BIG table. They will also deliver with a few days notice and they like a couple of days notice for large orders.
Check out their web site for their daily menu or their most popular meals. They offer a wide variety of items, Chicken Marsala, herb rubbed chicken, garden meatloaf or London broil. Their menu today offers enchiladas (my husband’s favorite), Pot Roast with potatoes and carrots, Pane Chicken with apple pear chutney, and Seared Strip Steak with the sauce of the day.
Last night I picked up their special which was a homemade three cheese pasta casserole topped with a meat sauce, fresh yellow squash sautéed with tomatoes and onions, and their house salad, which is greens mixed with strawberries, pears, walnuts, and feta and dressed with a sweet raspberry vinaigrette. The family devoured the meal. There was plenty of food for four and the price was $30 which included tax.
They packed the meal family style, which is one large container of each type of food. They will also pack up your dinners separately if you want to order different items. I’m now sorry that I did not pick up a freshly baked pie. The pies smelled and looked wonderfully tasty!
Owners Karen and David Loveless were each in the restaurant business for twenty years prior to opening their own dream business. It is evident that their experience is paying off for their small restaurant was booming last night.
