I had the opportunity to read the press release of "Littlefield says handlers trying to cover-up the real Ann Coulter." In it Littlefield stated "the real Ann Coulter wears little to no makeup."
I noticed this statement was edited out of the final version your newspaper published. I question this as bias reporting by John Wilson and your news publication.
You have a responsibility and code of ethics as journalists to your readers. Does your reporter receive any consulting fees or have any conflicts of interest, we the public should be aware of? Who is editing his articles?
As a professional woman in Chattanooga, I am offended by Mr. Littlefield's comment about Mrs. Coulters makeup. What does wearing makeup have to do with running the City of Chattanooga? Maybe if Ron Littlefield wants to continue to fool and belittle the voters of Chattanooga (especially females) he should wear a little make-up himself.

(Editor's Note: The Littlefield campaign emailed us a planned statement for a press conference. It was later decided to use a different text at the press conference. The Littlefield campaign called and asked that we substitute the remarks that were actually read at the press conference. We complied as we would if asked by any candidate.)
