Wilkinson, Mary Allison

Mary Allison Wilkinson, a native of Birmingham, AL, and longtime resident of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, March 19, 2005 in a local hospital.

She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church for over 50 years.

Mrs. Wilkinson was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Mary Ellen Wilkinson and Karrie Ann Wilkinson.

She is survived by her husband, Harry C. Wilkinson; one daughter, Elyse Irwin and husband, Steve, Orange County, CA; three sons, Harry Wilkinson, Jr., Nashville, TN, Pastor Stan Wilkinson and wife Donna, Rochester, Minnesota, and John Wilkinson and wife Alisa, Chattanooga; ten grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the East Chapel with the Rev. Dale Gilbert officiating.

Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Monday and from 1:30–2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church 6314 East Brainerd Road Chattanooga, TN 37421 or to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4355 Highway 58, Chattanooga, TN 37416.
