Army Veteran Was Retired From Mar-Kel Lighting

Sherman F. Hale, 75, of Hixson died Thursday, November 1, 2007 at his home.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was retired from Mar-Kel Lighting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Gertrude Hale; brothers, Elmer, James and Virgil Hale; sisters, Bertie Redden, Bertha Manning and Flora Hale.

He is survived by his sister, Thelma Patton, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hensley Cemetery with the Rev. Ted Painter officiating.

Family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
