Jimmy Holland, 66, died Friday, April 20, 2007, at North Valley Medical Center.
He was a member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and was the former owner of Jimmy’s Transmission.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Elise Holland; brothers, Roy Joe and Charles Holland.
He is survived by his wife, Marlyn Holland; daughter, Sherry Johnson, Pikeville; four sons, Nathan, Jerry and Terry Holland, all of Pikeville, Tn., Jimmy Dewayne Holland, Dunlap; four sisters, Betty Byrd, Sandy Layne, Debbie Angel, all of Pikeville, Linda Upton, Soddy-Daisy; brother, Jackie Holland, Dunlap; several grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. CDT Sunday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Tom Tucker officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 8 a.m. CDT Sunday until the time of funeral.
Arrangements are by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap.
