Katie McAfee Dill, 78, of Hixson, died on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at local health care facility.

She was a member of Daisy Church of God were she was very active. Katie loved her family dearly - children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eulis and Artie Davis, and brother, Bill Davis.

She is survived by her sons, Gary McAfee, Danny McAfee; daughters, Teresa (Gary) Selcer, Joy (Tom) Reagor; three grandchildren who she raised as her own, Tad, Danielle, and Misty McAfee; brothers, Gene Davis, Jimmy Davis; sister, Barbara Angel; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; special friend, Joni Dubose.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Sam Philips and Bishop Warren Beavers officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Her family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
