Chattanoogan Appoints Pinner As Executive Chef

The Chattanoogan hotel has promoted Matthew Pinner to the position of executive chef. He has served as the hotel’s executive sous chef for the past three years.

Mr. Pinner is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's three dining establishments, The Broad Street Grille, The Foundry and Strouds, as well as in-room dining.

Mr. Pinner has spent the past 14 years working in the food industry in the Chattanooga area. Before joining The Chattanoogan, he served in several positions at Southside Grill. Most recently, he was the executive chef there. He also worked for several years as the executive sous chef at Vine Street Market.

Mr. Pinner graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, S.C. He and his wife are actively involved with Artamagig, a restaurant-sponsored silent auction event to promote local Chattanooga-area artists.
