Ralph Blevins
Ralph "Eddie" Blevins, 80, died on Sunday, March 2, 2008 in a local hospital.
He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. He worked for several years with Southern Saddlery, Tom Cat Overalls Company and he retired from Service Mattress Company.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Glover Blevins, parents, James G. and Cornelia Gann Blevins, and one brother, Harold Blevins.
He is survived by one sister, Aline Blevins Scoggins and her husband Alton Scoggins; one brother, Clyde M. Blevins and his wife Barbara Blevins; sister-in-law Sandra Blevins; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at Forest Hills Cemetery.
