Shirley Ann Cole, 72, died on Friday, June 6, 2008.

She was born on August 22, 1935, in McDonald, Tn., to the late Homer and Nettie Osment. Mrs. Cole was a former employee of TVA Credit Union and a member of Unity Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Osment; sister, Dorothy Randles; and a daughter, Debbie Ann Lyons.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and Jack McLemore, Ringgold; sons, Rodney Lyons, Rossville, Dale and Connie Lyons, and Charles Kenneth Cole Jr., all of Ringgold; 12 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Pat Davis and Rev. Robert Schrader officiating. Interment will be in Lee Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of NHC of Fort Oglethorpe and Hospice of Chattanooga for all the love and support given to the family and the excellent care given to our mother.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
