Talle Johnson Pottery will offer a kiln opening and holiday celebration on Saturday, Dec. 12.
Newly-handmade pottery will be brought out of the gas kiln at 11 a.m., and the free holiday celebration will continue until 5 p.m. with music, food and other refreshments.
The intricately-designed glass bead jewelry of Chattanooga-based Marge Langston will be featured in the gallery. She will also be giving lampwork bead-making demonstrations during the afternoon.
Talle Johnson’s work will be on display and for purchase, as will that of Marian Heintz and Lollie Durant, his studio associates, and several of his advanced students.
Talle Johnson Pottery is a working and teaching studio with three classes each week. Its gallery showcases the work of the three resident artists and frequent guest artists.
