Kay Arthur Teaches New Bible Study Course On Jeremiah

  • Monday, August 24, 2009

Precept Ministries International is offering a new Bible study course on the second part of the book of Jeremiah, featuring award-winning teacher and Precept co-founder, Kay Arthur.

Students will also be eligible to receive academic credit for Precept Upon Precept courses completed, stemming from a partnership established in January 2009 between Tennessee Temple University, Temple Baptist Seminary, and Precept Ministries.

The Jeremiah Part 2 course will be offered at Precept’s headquarters in Chattanooga, located at 7324 Noah Reid Road.

Precept Upon Precept Jeremiah Part 2 orientation will be held on Sept. 1 and 3, and the first live lecture and group discussion will be held on Sept. 8 and 10. Participants have time to register for the class, and sign up for college credit.

This all-new course continues Precept’s Inductive Bible Study of God’s Word to His people through the prophets, including God’s message to a rebellious Judah as Babylonian exile loomed.

The new Jeremiah Part 2 Precept Upon Precept course will be offered three times a week beginning in September. Kay Arthur will teach the Tuesday morning session live, then her recorded teaching will be used in later classes. The cost for all sessions is $15, excluding tax. The course will be offered:
9 a.m. Tuesday mornings class discussion, Sept. 1-Oct. 27, Kay Arthur live lecture at 10:30 a.m.
7 p.m. Tuesday evenings class discussion, Sept. 1-Oct. 27, prerecorded lecture at 8:30 p.m.
2 p.m. Thursday afternoons class discussion, Sept. 3-Oct. 29, prerecorded lecture at 3:30 p.m.

Other Precept Bible study courses beginning in September include:
