Sharon Laverne Turner McConnell, 45, of Adairsville, Ga., died Tuesday evening, Feb. 1, 2011 at Cartersville Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Eugene Turner; and two brothers, Dudley Gene Turner and Mr. Jefferey B. Turner.

She is survived by her husband, Mr. Antonio R. McConnell; five sons, Dustin McConnell, Tarvis McConnell, Tavias McConnell, Malcolm McConnell and Devin McConnell; three daughters, Kendra McConnell, Deiondra McConnell and Andrika McConnell; mother, Mrs. Georgia Harris Turner of Adairsville; three sisters, Teresa McClure, Vickie (Tony) Elkins and Kimberly (Bobby) Gibson; two brothers, Timothy (Nan) Harris and Bruce (Elsis) Turner; 15 grandchildren; father-in-law, Mr. James D. McConnell; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, Feb. 5, at 1 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, 128 Martin L. King, Jr. Drive, Adairsville, Ga. with Pastor Terry Hambrick and other ministers officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church Friday, Feb. 4 from 7-8 p.m. Interment will follow in Poplar Spring Cemetery.
