Helen Lovella Jones
Helen Lovella Jones, 84, of Rossville, died on Friday, November 16, 2012 in a local hospital.
A native and lifelong resident of the north Georgia area, Mrs. Jones was a member of Lookout Baptist Church and was retired from Bell South following 41 years of service. She also was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. While she enjoyed knitting and quilting in her spare time, her greatest love was animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Luther Crabtree and Florence Lucinda Chapman Crabtree, and a brother, Gilbert Crabtree. Mrs. Jones put her trust and faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and has passed that on to her loved ones.
Survivors include her daughters, Diane Jones of Rossville, and Deborah (Robert) Owens of East Ridge; brother, Charlie Crabtree, Flintstone; grandchildren, Cody Hamilton & Amber Turnipseed; six great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 19, at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Gerry Flynn officiating. Burial will follow in Singletary Cemetery, High Point, Ga.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 18, from 4–8 p.m. and Monday, Nov.19, from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
