Former Congressman Zach Wamp told police he had an encounter with two men on ATVs near his home at Cummings Cove in Lookout Valley.
He said they were coming up a creek close to his house. He said he advised them they were on private property.
One of the men responded, "Well, then I guess you need to move then, huh?"
They continued riding along the creek, then returned and drove to Cummings Road, he said.
Mr. Wamp said Friday, "No one asked for or 'filed' a police report.
I did not call the police. Others in the neighborhood did. We have no beef with the four wheelers as long as they don't ride on the golf course, drive up the middle of the creek in the neighborhood or come into our yards. Ninety nine percent of the four wheelers are awesome people just having fun. Just like 99 percent of our homeowners just want to be left alone and co-exist peacefully."

When the man accused the man on the other line as being the same as the one he just talked to, the line went dead.
