The historic East Chattanooga community will host Glass Street Live on Saturday, rain or shine. Glass House Collective partners with residents and merchants of East Chattanooga aim to bring Glass Street back to life through a full day of activities and entertainment.
The day will include music, food, crafts and more and will be held in conjunction with the HATCH Arts Festival. Glass Street Live comes to the intersection of Glass Street and North Chamberlain Avenue at 2508 Glass St. on Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
The day begins at nearby Hardy Elementary at 2100 Glass St. with the "Touch-A-Truck" activity showcasing Chattanooga's biggest trucks.

Historic train rides with the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum
Civil War Walking Tour with local historian Jim Ogden
Live music featuring DJ Selecta K7 on the rooftop of Custom Cycles
Kids activities that include: inflatables, screen printing T-shirts, decorating bird houses, and a Lego build competition
Mobile garden demonstration and planting activities with Fair Share
Pop-Up Ping Pong Arena with LifeKraze
Living History Museum: Share your Glass Street Story with Glass House Collective in 2523 Glass St.
Youth basketball tournament with East Chattanooga Parks & Recreation and Hope for the Inner City
Glass Street Live is sponsored by Stone Services, Memorial Health Care System, AREA203 Digital, East Chattanooga Improvement, Peter Murphy, Coca Cola, Kevin Bate, and J.T. McDaniel. The event is free and open to all ages.

Glass House Collective partners community residents and merchants with artists, entrepreneurs, and other volunteers in creative projects to re-imagine the neighborhood through creative placemaking, feet-on-the-street community engagement, and innovative programming.
