Delita Cobb
P&G Duracell will host a Plant Manager Meet and Greet at the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce on Friday, Aug. 31, 8:30-9:30 a.m. to say farewell to outgoing Plant Manager Bill Barkley and introduce Delita Cobb to the P&G/Duracell family and Cleveland community.
The Procter & Gamble Company has assigned Ms. Cobb as plant manager of the Duracell plant in Cleveland to replace Mr. Barkley, who will remain with the Duracell brand and relocate to Bethel, Conn.
Ms. Cobb was born in Atlanta and has been with Procter & Gamble for 22 years. Her P&G began in 1990 at the Ivorydale Soap plant in Cincinnati. In addition, she has held numerous assignments in the corporate offices in Cincinnati in quality assurance, engineering, program management and logistics.
In 2001 Ms. Cobb transferred to the Procter & Gamble Hunt Valley, Md., facility where she served in operations manager assignments for the Powder Cosmetics Supply Chain. She has also led plant facilities in Pet Care in Lewisburg, Ohio, and Aurora, Neb. She has spent the last two years of her P&G career in Cincinnati as Global Pet Care associate director.
Ms. Cobb is married to Henry Drake, a P&G retiree. Her hobbies and interests include skiing, reading, traveling and golf.
