Rev. Mark Flynn will begin a sermon series on the book of Jonah on Sunday, at Christ United Methodist Church, 8645 East Brainerd Road.A companion study of "A Walk Thru the Book of Jonah" will be offered on the four Sundays of the study during Sunday School.
Jane Newman (892-9137) will lead a new class at 10 in room M-3. The following current classes will also do the study: Almost Adults, Gifford, Lost and Found, Lighthouse, and Service Station.
On three Wednesday nights, beginning Sept. 18, Ted Tsaltas will lead an introductory presentation/discussion group on gospel textual criticism and the historical Jesus.
