25-008251 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Pedestrian Struck
Police, Fire, and EMS personnel responded to the report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Officers found that several juveniles were running through traffic when one of the juveniles was struck by a moving vehicle. The juvenile was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the
vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation. No charges have not been filed, and the investigation is on-going.
Day Shift August 5: A Squad
25-008231-10 BLK Laurel Lane-Delayed Assault
Police were made aware of an assault. Officers were informed of an assault that took place at the residence above and two separate assaults that took place in Chattanooga. Along with the assault perpetrated, police were informed of false imprisonment and vandalism. The suspect was taken into
custody and charged with domestic assault, vandalism and false imprisonment.
25-00824 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway - Trespass/Suspicious Activity
Police contacted a party who matched the description given by dispatch causing a disorder at the restaurant. The subject was given a courtesy ride to the community kitchen per his request. He was also trespassed from the property and was given his trespass warning. Trespass# 25-000158
25-008237 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road - Disorder
A man was trespassed from the hotel following a disorder with the staff.
25-008244 – 3700 BLK Anderson Avenue - Firearm Theft
A resident spoke with police in the ERPD Lobby regarding a Smith & Wesson Shield stolen from his pickup truck sometime between today and July 21st. The firearm has been entered into NCIC.
25-008239 – 3300 BLK Gleason Drive – Disorder
Police responded to this location for a suspicious person/disorder prevention between the three parties. One advised he had obtained an Order of Protection against his ex and she was threatening to come to his home. Police spoke with the woman by phone and informed her of the order even though it had not been served. She stated she would come to the residence in violation of the OOP, however she never did. A report was completed to document the subject’s immediate knowledge of the OOP since it has not been served, but she was made aware of its existence.
25-008242 – 5700 BLK Roper Street – Criminal Trespass
Police responded to this location after a male subject had been evicted but was found sleeping in the laundry room. Officers contacted the man on scene and notified him of the trespass. Proximity Restriction #25-00159.
25-008249 – 300 BLK Dunlap Avenue– Disorder with a Weapon
Police responded to this location for a disorder between mother and son after the son was reportedly being “disrespectful”. While in route, it was upgraded to a disorder with a weapon after the mother retrieved a knife in “self-defense”. Officers spoke with the son and his mother who both advised they had pushed each other before mom retrieved a kitchen knife but made no threats. It was determined that both parties had mutually pushed each other and then broke each other’s TV’s consentingly to be “even”. A report has been completed.
25-008236 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Rd. - Assist Other Agency
While fueling, a Crime Suppression Investigator observed a possibly wanted subject at the above business. After an inquiry, it was discovered he had a Probation Violation warrant from Catoosa County. He was taken into custody without further incident.
Night Shift August 5: C Squad
25-008255 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder
Police Officers responded to a disorder at the fast-food restaurant. The customer was upset because the restaurant would not accept her food coupon. The on-duty manager told Police the coupon was good for $5 off a purchase of $25 and the customer only ordered $4.90 worth of food. The misunderstanding resulted in a verbal disorder between the customer and two employees. The customer was trespassed from the business based on a request from the General Manager.
25-008257 – 3300 BLK Gleason Drive – Disorder Prevention
Officers responded to a disorder prevention at a residence. Police spoke with a man who reported he had a Temporary Protection Order against his wife. He stated that she had called him stating that she was heading to the house to recover her property. Police confirmed that a TPO was in place but
found it had not yet been served on the woman. Officers remained in the area for approximately 45 minutes, but the subject never came to the residence.
25-008266/25-008268 – 6600 BLK State Line Road – Domestic Assault / Arrest
Police responded to a domestic assault at this residence. A woman stated her boyfriend had locked her out of her house twice during a verbal argument. Upon her second re-entry, the man pushed her against the wall. The suspect then fled the residence in a blue Ford Taurus. Police located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. While speaking, Police determined that he was very intoxicated. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with Domestic Assault and Driving Under the Influence
(Alcohol).
25-008270 – 3100 BLK Moseley Circle – Domestic Disorder
Police Officers responded to a Domestic Disorder at a residence. Officers determined that a woman and man had a verbal argument concerning behavior of their dogs. Police determined there were no physical altercation or threats of violence. Both agreed to separate for the evening.
25-008279 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Back Other Agency
Chattanooga Police Officers located a stolen Nissan Rogue on Brainerd Road. The vehicle fled as CPD Officers approached it. A few minutes later, East Ridge Police received an LPR hit for the vehicle on Ringgold Road and went to investigate the area. An ERPD unit located the vehicle as it was entering Chattanooga through the Bachman Tunnels and notified Dispatch. Two Chattanooga Police units attempted to stop the vehicle on Westside Drive with ERPD units in support. For a second time, the Nissan Rogue fled from Police at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was not pursued
due to traffic conditions. CPD is continuing to investigate the situation.
