25-008127- 1300 BLK McBrien Road- Delayed Shooting
CPD reported to ERPD that a shooting victim appeared at Erlanger and stated that he was shot at an address on McBrien. ERPD officers responded to McBrien and located the crime scene and the firearm (Anderson AM-15, Multi Caliber) in the front yard. One male returned to the crime scene after transporting the victim in his truck to Erlanger. A second male, a person of interest, is still at large. The victim was shot in the face and is in stable condition at Erlanger. The man who drove
the victim's truck provided a statement to police before he was taken into custody for outstanding Session's warrants separate from this incident. The victim's truck was impounded at the ERPD impound lot for further processing. CID was notified and responded to process evidence.

25-008033 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road - Suspicious person/Trespass
Police were dispatched to the grocery store on reports of a male cursing at people exiting the store. Officers spoke with the subject who advised he wasn’t trying to cause problems and was leaving. Police were advised earlier he had been at East Ridge Animal Services spitting on cars and cursing at the employees. The man was trespassed from ERAS and given a courtesy ride into Georgia. The victim reported that his white F-150 was stolen from his driveway at some point during the night.

The caller reported his trailer was stolen from his business approximately one month ago.

25-008031 – 3400 BLK Lisa Drive– Stolen Vehicle Recovery
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office located a white Ford F150 that was stolen out of East Ridge. Sheriff’s Deputies located a female subject with the vehicle. She was arrested and charged with Theft of Property (Possession of Stolen Property), reference Marion County case number 355628. The vehicle owner was notified, and the truck was removed from NCIC.
25-008048 – 700 BLK Germantown Circle– Burglary
Police responded to a burglary at the apartment complex. The victim reported his patio door had been forced open while he was out. He reported several items missing including a PlayStation 5, a heat press, shoes and 9mm ammunition. At this time, Police have no suspects identified and the
investigation is on-going.
25-008050 – 4100 BLK East Ridge Drive – Disorder
Police responded to a disorder at this residence and found two women in verbal argument. Police determined that both subjects lived at the residence and there were no signs of an assault. Both agreed to separate for the evening.
25-008051 – 5700 BLK Ropper Street – Disorder
Police responded to a disorder at the apartments. Officers located a large crowd with several individuals arguing with each other. Upon further investigation, Police determined that two women had a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation involving pushing and hair
pulling. Police could not determine a primary aggressor, and no serious injuries were reported. The sisters agreed to separate for the evening, and the crowd dispersed.

Trespass
Police responded to a Disorder involving an unruly customer. Employees reported that the man began cussing at customers and employees after he was refused an alcohol sale. Police spoke with the man who left without further incident. He was criminally trespassed at the request of the

25-008054 – 400 BLK Lynncrest Drive, Ridgeside – Distress Alarm
Police responded to a distress alarm at this location. Officers checked the area and spoke with residents of the home. After a short investigation, Police determined the alarm had been tripped accidentally and there were no issues at the residence.
25-008057 – 400 BLK S. Germantown Road – Burglar Alarm
Police responded to a rear motion alarm activation at the office building. The officer checked the building and found no signs of damage or forced entry.
25-008059 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Miscellaneous
Police responded to the report of a stolen vehicle at this address. The reporting party claimed to be with a car dealership near Atlanta, Ga. The vehicle information was sent to the 911 Dispatch Center, and the car had not reported as stolen in NCIC. Police spoke with the owner of the vehicle on
scene, and he provided proof of ownership and a valid registration. No further law enforcement action was required.

While in custody at the Hamilton County Jail, a woman was served with an Alias Capias warrant through the City of East Ridge. The original charge for the arrest warrant was Driving on a Revoked License.

Police were dispatched to hotel to assist management with two guests refusing to leave the property. The two individuals had vacated the property upon police arrival.
25-008075 – 3900 BLK Bennett Road- Domestic Disorder
A woman reported her child's father pushed and shoved her out of his residence during a verbal altercation. She did not present any injuries from the incident, and the suspect had left the scene prior to police arrival, preventing officers being able to speak with him. Officers advised her to
contact police for disorder prevention prior to her visiting the man’s residence to keep the peace during their interactions.

A woman asked for advice from police when her father refused to provide her car title for her vehicle which arrived in the mail today. The complainant decided to first attempt to settle the problem as a family matter before seeking criminal theft charges.

A man was served two (2) warrants out of East Ridge for Vandalism & Alias Capias (Driving on Revoked/Suspended) while he was in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
25-008087 – 5500 BLK Oakdale Avenue – Back EMS
A pregnant female was transported to Parkridge East Hospital for an acute illness. Police presence was required due to a caution note for the address regarding history of a violent resident.
25-008089 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrests
Following a traffic stop at the above location, three people were issued misdemeanor citations for possession of drug paraphernalia.

A caller reported he was staying at this location with his wife and had been there for the entirety of the day. The caller stated he had left for work and received a call that his wife and her boyfriend were removing items from the room. Police explained to the caller that he and his wife were still married, and she had legal access to the room and the contents therein.

Medical staff called to report a woman refused to leave the lobby after being discharged. She was issued a criminal trespass and given a ride by police to 727 E 11th St. Proximity Restriction # 25-000156.
25-008103-1400 BLK Mack Smith Road-Delayed Assault
An employee reported to Police that a male in all black with short dreadlocks had assaulted a female who was attempting to check in to the hotel. Both the suspect and victim were gone prior to Police arrival.
25-008106 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Rd Walmart Neighborhood Market-Unattended Child
Officers responded to the lot for a report of a small child left unattended in a locked vehicle. A witness stated the child had been alone for over 30 minutes. The mother admitted to leaving the child while she shopped and was issued a misdemeanor citation.
25-008108 – 4000 BLK West Stump St – Assist Other Agency / Arrest
ERPD was notified by dispatch that Rossville PD and Walker County Sheriff’s Office were in pursuit of a white SUV but had disengaged when they entered Tennessee. A canvas of the area was conducted, and the vehicle was located on Patton Drive, disabled and abandoned. Contact was made with the suspects on West Stump St. Police discovered a three-year-old boy was in the
car during the pursuit and, while the fleeing, the SUV hit two vehicles in East Ridge. Both the male and female suspects were taken into custody. A search of their bags resulted in the discovery of suspected Fentanyl and suspected Methamphetamine. Charges include Child Endangerment, Possession of Fentanyl, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The suspects were transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident. The male subject also had extraditable warrants out of Ga.

25-008112 -700 BLK Summit Ave – Burglary
The caller stated that between 1:00 pm and 6:30 pm, an unknown person entered her home and took four different items. When she arrived home, her sliding back door was open. Police cleared the residence, and nothing looked tampered with. On call CID was notified of the incident.
25-008115 – 900 BLK Stateline Road – Back-up Fire
A dumpster fire, caused when a resident dumped hot coals leftover from cooking, was extinguished by East Ridge firefighters. When questioned, the person responsible stated she didn’t think the coals were hot.
25-008117-5600 BLK Ringgold Road - Disorder
Police responded for a delayed disorder. Employees reported that two males and a female assaulted employees after being asked to leave, due to one of the males carrying a large knife on his belt. The suspects had left the scene prior to police arrival. Employees declined prosecution.
25-008118- 5300 BLK Ringgold Road-Domestic Assault
A juvenile caller reported she was hit multiple times by a known male suspect. Officers did observe injuries consistent with the caller’s statements. A short time later, the male met with police at the East Ridge Police Department and was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault
(Domestic).
25-008121 – 5400 BLK Oakdale Avenue – Noise Complaint
Police patrolled the street after a neighbor complained about several loud residents. All excessive noise ceased when police patrolled the area.
25-008127 – 1300 BLK McBrien Road – Other Warrant
A man was taken into custody on Session's warrants for Failure to appear for DUI, Due Care, and Speeding.
25-008129 – 200 BLK Eads Street– Back EMS
Officers stood by at the above address at the request of AmeriMed, who was picking up an individual for an involuntary CON. The patient was cooperative. No incident.

25-008131-5400 BLK Oakdale Avenue-Noise Complaint
Police were dispatched to the address listed for a complaint of loud music, police spoke with the individuals inside the residence, they agreed to turn the music down without issue.
25-008142-400 BLK Scruggs Road-Auto Theft
A man reported his 2020 International Semi-Truck Stolen from the listed location. No suspect information or footage of the incident was available at the time of report.
25-008145-1400 BLK ST Thomas Street-Well Being Check
Police were dispatched for a guest lying on the floor of the hotel room and refusing to leave. After being told to leave by police on scene, the occupant agreed to leave without issue.
25-008148 – 3700 BLK Norma Drive – MVC / Carjacking
ERPD responded to a MVC on I-24 E around 1230 hrs. Witnesses stated that a male wearing a white shirt and khaki pants started running towards the Germantown exit after leaving the scene of the accident. The male, later identified, had multiple warrants out of sessions court along with driving on revoked for DUI. Around 1246 hrs. another call come out on Norma Drive for a carjacking. The victim stated a male wearing a white shirt and light color pants had held her and her sisters at gun point demanding the vehicle keys. The victims stated he snatched their purses from them in attempt to find the vehicle keys. The victims went on to say when they had the chance they took off running to get distance and waited for ERPD to arrive. When officers arrived, they located a white Jetta unoccupied with both purses and the vehicle keys inside the vehicle. ERPD was unable to locate the suspect. Charges are being issued for attempted Carjacking, Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, and Multiple Traffic Charges.
25-008149 – 3600 BLK Fountain Avenue- Domestic Assault
A woman reported that her child's father bit her during a verbal altercation in the parking lot of the apartment complex. She presented to police two bite marks she stated were caused by the man. A warrant for Domestic Assault will be sought.

25-008152 – 1500 BLK Karwill Lane– Theft
A woman reported that neighbor’s very young children stole a tomato from her tomato vine, and she wanted to report the theft. Police explained to her that children of that age are not prosecuted for theft and advised her to speak with the parents about the matter.
25-008155-5000 BLK S Terrace-Warrant Service
Police observed a man sitting on the sidewalk of the listed address. A records check was conducted, and he was found to have three valid arrest warrants through Hamilton County Sessions Court for Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, and Aggravated Burglary. The man was taken into
custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.

An unknown female party called police and requested a harassment report be completed on behalf of her adult daughter. The woman said she and her daughter had moved away but refused to provide officers with the incident location. The female was advised to have her adult daughter call in when she was ready to provide the necessary information for a report.
25-008174 – 1500 BLK S. Smith Street – Backup Other Agency
Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office requested an East Ridge officer accompany him to this address while he served an Order of Protection.

A woman called to report her adult granddaughter had gone to stay with a friend and not returned home. She was advised her granddaughter is a legal adult and does not have to come back if she does not wish to.
25-008160 – 5300 BLK Clemons Road - Well Being Check
Police were called to check on a woman after her husband reported she had not responded to his phone calls. Officers made contact with the woman who said she was sleeping at did not hear the phone ring.

A woman reported, again, that neighborhood children stole tomato(s) from her roommate’s tomato vine and asked what she should do. Police reiterated to her that children of that age are not prosecuted for theft and advised her to have the roommate speak with the parents about the matter.
25-008178 – 1500 BLK Tombras Avenue – Property
Police spoke with a woman who said she was a weekend guest at the hotel. She checked out on Monday but could not locate her wallet that contained her identity documents and $400 cash. She said the hotel staff did not locate the wallet during cleaning. She requested a fuel card to help her make the trip back home to Hampton, Ga.
25-008180 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road - Unconscious Person -
ERPD responded to the East entrance of the complex on a report a man was laying on the sidewalk unconscious. Upon arrival police contacted the party who stated he fell asleep for a moment. He was found to have numerous non-extraditable warrants out of Ohio. Officers advised him to take care of his warrants and to select better places to rest.
25-008182 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft
Police responded after employees witnessed a male conceal merchandise and bypass the point of sale without paying. The man, accompanied by a female, drove off eastbound on Ringgold Road in a Honda Accord. Employees stated the man stole two flashlights, two knives and two sets of drill bits.
Night Shift August 4: C Squad
25-008185 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder
Hotel management requested that a man and woman leave the motel after the couple had a loud argument. The woman had left prior to the arrival of police, and the man alleged the argument started after his wife got into a vehicle with a known drug dealer. He also stated the couple was splitting up due to the incident. The man was provided with a courtesy ride to his mother’s house. No
charges are being sought.
25-008188 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Domestic Assault / Assist Other
Agency
Police Officers responded to a domestic assault at the establishment’s drive through. Enroute to the scene, Officers were advised that the suspects left in their vehicle and headed toward the tunnels. Police located the suspect vehicle and stopped it in Chattanooga. Both stated there was only a verbal argument and denied any physical altercation. The female subject was found to have an active warrant through Sessions Court, and she was transported to the Hamilton County Jail. Later in the shift, the responding Officers received a video showing the male striking the woman multiple times in the head and dragging her by her braids at the drive through. Based on this evidence, a warrant for Domestic Assault was obtained. Officers checked for the suspect at his home in Chattanooga, but he was not located.
25-008189 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road– Suspicious Activity
The caller reported $100 worth of his employer’s tools were missing and he felt that an ex-boyfriend stole them. Police advised him to contact his boss to ensure he did not have the tools. After the tools were confirmed missing, Police would complete a theft report and start an investigation.
25-008193 – 3200 BLK Bennett Road – Theft from Vehicle
A party reported his vehicle tag was stolen off his Cadillac on Saturday night. He had a home security video of the incident, but it did not provide enough detail for a suspect description. The vehicle plate was entered as stolen into NCIC.

Following a traffic stop, a man was arrested and charged with Driving on a Revoked License for DUI. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-008198 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious Activity
Employees reported a customer was hiding in the women’s restroom from her date and his friend. Police located the men outside the restaurant, and both expressed concern for the woman’s welfare. Officers located the subject inside the restaurant and found she was highly intoxicated. She stated that she did not want to leave with the men and wanted to go home. Hamilton County EMS responded and evaluated her to ensure she was not under the influence of an illegal narcotic. Both men were checked for warrants and sent on their way. Police provided the woman with a courtesy ride to her residence.
25-008200 – 1400 BLK Sewanee Drive – Domestic Disorder
Police Officers responded to a Domestic Disorder involving a woman and her boyfriend. After a short investigation, Police determined that the disorder was verbal in nature. The woman stated it was her home, and she wanted the man off the property. Police provided him with a courtesy ride to the gas
station where he met with a friend.

A man was taken into custody for three Forfeiture Capis warrants through the City of East Ridge. The original charges were Resisting Arrest, Theft of Property, and Vandalism. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
