A traffic stop in the 5900 block of Main Street for a suspended registration resulted in one person being arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. The driver was also cited for registration and insurance violations.
Officers responded to Apison Pike near Chestnut Creek for a report of road debris falling from a truck. No hazard or truck was located.
A two-vehicle crash occurred at Apison Pike and Tucker Drive.
One vehicle was towed from the scene, and all parties refused EMS.
A residential alarm was activated in the 5400 block of Misty Valley Drive. It was determined that landscapers had accidentally triggered the front door alarm.
Officers responded to a theft at a business in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway. A person was found to have concealed multiple items and attempted to scan cheaper tags. A citation was issued to the individual.
A suspicious person was reported behind a business in the 5900 block of Main Street. The individual was said to be walking along the woodline. No violations were reported, and officers were unable to locate the person.
Officers were advised of a previous theft at a business in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway. The suspects had been identified, and warrants were obtained.
A person was taken into custody at the police department after being located by a Hamilton County deputy. The subject had an active Collegedale warrant.
A crash occurred at Little Debbie Parkway and Old Lee Highway. One vehicle’s front bumper contacted the other’s rear bumper. No injuries were reported.

A resident in the 5700 block of Tallant Road was attempting to move their truck but was unable to gain traction due to pine needles in the driveway. A nearby neighbor misinterpreted the situation after hearing loud voices and began yelling from their porch. Officers determined it was a misunderstanding.
