Jerry Dean Huskey
Jerry Dean Huskey, 62, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 2, 2025.
Jerry was born in Chattanooga, on August 2, 1962, to the late Billy Randolph and Lois Dean Huskey. Jerry graduated from East Ridge High School and went on to begin his career in sheet metal working as an apprentice. He currently was employed with Spangler Sheet Metal where he had worked for the last 15 years.
Jerry also had many personal joys— he was an avid fisherman and kayaker. He loved the outdoors, especially the Great Smokey Mountains. He was an active member of the NRA, volunteered his time with the Chattanooga Rescue Squad and served as a mentor and leader to the Boy Scouts in Troop 74.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left behind to cherish Jerry’s memory are his daughter and her husband, Briana and Noah Neal, his grandson, Elias Neal and his granddaughter, Remy Neal, his sister and brother-in-law, Jenny and David Smart, a nephew, Davey Smart, and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Jerry’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Monday, Aug. 11, at 10 a.m. His family will receive friends on Sunday at the funeral home from 4–8 p.m. He will be laid to rest in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens following the service.
