ClearRiver Health, a new, locally based, not-for-profit health plan for Medicare beneficiaries with an emphasis on the physician-patient relationship, access and personal customer service, will enter the Medicare Advantage market in Hamilton County beginning today. Founded by Prominence Health, a subsidiary of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), ClearRiver Health offers a fresh approach to Medicare Advantage where doctors, members and the health plan work together to optimize member health with costs that are affordable and predictable.
ClearRiver Health will offer a Medicare Advantage plan that emphasizes preventive care, disease management and wellness programs.

“The investment in ClearRiver Health in our community will be ongoing and robust,” says Nicholas G. Economides, M.D., vice president and physician executive with Memorial Health Partners Foundation.  “It’s this kind of long-term stability, planning and commitment that provides our community with the absolute best in health care.”

ClearRiver Health will offer the Classic Plus Rx (HMO) plan which has a $0 premium and low copays and includes prescription drug coverage and vision, hearing and dental services, as well as a no-extra cost gym membership program.

CHI Memorial’s partnership with ClearRiver Health is different because it is a truly local plan. ClearRiver Health is located in Hamilton County to serve Medicare beneficiaries.

According ClearRiver Health officials, members will find:
