Cleveland State Offers Process Control Fundamentals Program

  • Thursday, November 13, 2014

Cleveland State Community College is offering a fast-track certificate in Process Control Fundamentals. This fast-track program offers students a quick and convenient way to obtain a college credential. The benefits of the program include attending class one time per week and completing the certificate in just nine months.  The program starts in January of 2015 and is designed to accommodate working adults.

"Every item produced in a manufacturing environment is created by means of a process. Students will gain hands-on experience in set-up, operation, data monitoring, data collection and troubleshooting process control systems that are used in industrial settings," officials said.

Led by professors with industry experience and driven by industry needs, the program combines traditional classroom study and practical experience utilizing our lab tools and simulation software.
This certificate can lead to an Associate of Applied Science Degree for those students who want to continue their education.
