First Things First helps couples prepare for their marriage journey at the Nearly-Wed Adventure on Saturday, June 27 at Hidden Hollow Resort, 411 Hidden Hollow Ln., Chickamauga from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. This event is designed for couples who are engaged or seriously dating.
According to organizers of the event, research indicates that premarital education can actually reduce a couple’s chances of divorce. With this in mind, each interactive experience at Nearly-Wed Adventure helps couples address the issues many newlyweds face in their relationship such as:

Communicating effectively;

Expectations for marriage, finances, work, children and in-laws;
•
Managing conflict in the relationship;
•
And more.
The Nearly-Wed Adventure is offered at no cost.
