Large New Restaurant Planned On The Southside

  • Wednesday, July 8, 2015

A large new restaurant is planned on the Southside on E. 14th Street at the end of Rossville Avenue.

Dan Rose is the applicant on a zoning request for the 3,900-square-foot facility.

Charles W. Hand Jr. is the owner of the site at 20 E. 14th.

The site currently has manufacturing zoning, but the Southside, including the Jefferson Heights community, has rapidly been developing with new housing, restaurants and other commercial and retail.

The case goes before the Planning Commission next Monday at 1 p.m. at the County Courthouse.
