John Deffenbaugh Seeking New Term For Georgia House Seat 1

  • Friday, March 18, 2016

John Deffenbaugh said he is announcing his candidacy for the Georgia House of Representatives for District 1 which includes Dade County and most of Walker County.

Rep. Deffenbaugh said, "It has been my honor to serve District 1 for the last four years.  Some of the major accomplishments have been a balanced budget, an increase in education spending, much better local control in educational spending, and increasing our freedom by expanding the 2nd Amendment rights.  Solving Veterans’ problems has been one of my major efforts, along with helping small businesses develop.  We are poised for new business growth in Dade and Walker counties.

"With your support, we will continue to grow and make District 1 a great place to live.  I look forward to seeing many of you this summer. I would appreciate your vote in the November election.

"If you have any questions or concerns, please call 706 820-1375."
