Carl David Sartin
Carl David Sartin, 76, of Leesburg, Alabama, and formerly of Rossville, Georgia, died on Sunday, March 6, 2016.
Mr. Sartin was a 1957 graduate of Rossville High School and he was of the Baptist faith. He retired in 2000 as a supervisor with El Paso Corporation in Mobile, Al., with 31 years of service. Mr. Sartin was fun to be around and his passions in life were farming, hunting, fishing, and reading. He especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren as well as spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his son, Mitchell “Mickey” Sartin; daughter, Robbie Hayes; and parents, Lester and Margret Sartin.
Survivors include his wife Jean Sartin of Leesburg, AL; sons, Marty (Janice) Sartin of Rossville, David (Sherrie) Sartin of Ft. Lauderdale, Tony (Donna) Sartin of Pensacola; daughters, Sheila Heyde of Rossville, Debbie (Keith) Bass of Milton, FL, Janet (Rickey) Fletcher of Cedar Bluff, AL; sister, Shirley Summers of Soddy Daisy; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 10, at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.
Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 9, from 2-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
