Boy, 4, Who Was Pulled From Farm Pond Dies

A four-year-old Soddy Daisy boy who was pulled from a farm pond on Tuesday afternoon has died.

The incident happened when Luke Hargiss wandered away from adults at the property near the Hamilton/Sequatchie line on Walden's Ridge.

The child's grandfather found him in the water.

He was taken by helicopter to Children's Hospital, where he was placed in the Intensive Care Unit.

Funeral arrangements will be by Williamson and Son Funeral Home.
