Ashley Rae Adams, 28, of Chattanooga, died on August 20, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph Greene, Sr, Estelle Greene and Junior Wright, and Aunt Wanda and Aunt Bam.

One of her greatest joys was taking care of others.  Ashley had an incredible love for children. She was very active in the Dragon Boat Races for Children’s Hospital. Ashley was a huge fan of the Lookout Valley Yellow Jackets and the Tennessee Vols.

Survivors include her parents, Ray and Judy Adams; brother, Raymond Spencer Adams; best friend, Ashley Frazier; grandmothers, Jo Pearl Adams and Jan Wright; aunts and uncles, Becky and Bob Godwin, Christa and Tony Gunther, Tom Wilkey, Danny Elbert Adams, Richard Adams, and Pat Pearson; great aunts and uncles, Mary Greene, Laverne Greene, Chester Greene, Linda Greene and Ralph Greene, Jr; several cousins and a multitude of special friends.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend William Trimble officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, Aug. 24, from 6-8 p.m.
