Robbie Daymond, Chris Patton And Veloci-Rainbow To Be At Anime Blast Chattanooga

Anime Blast Chattanooga has announced their complete guest list for 2017, including the newly announced Veloci-Rainbow. Attendees will also have the chance to meet voice actors Robbie Daymond and Chris Patton at the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo, Nov. 10-12. 

Additional guests for this year include animator Allyssa Lewis; cosplay guests Go Big or Go Home Cosplay, Veenacos, Thranduart, Cosplay-Senpai; Gunpla expert 00GundamreviewsV2, and game show host Greg Wicker aka “Greggo's Game Shows” and more. Robbie Daymond is a Native-American voice artist, actor, and performer based in Los Angeles. He works in traditional animation, Anime, commercials, film, television, audiobooks and videogames for companies such as: Nickelodeon, Disney, Warner Brothers, Cartoon Network, Discovery Kids, NBC, 20th Century Fox, Marvel, Bang Zoom!, Lucas Films, Activision, Square Enix, Volition Games, Studiopolis, VIZ, Aniplex, SyFy, Random House and many more. 

After booking his first major Anime role in 2014 as Tuxedo Mask in “Sailor Moon”, he has had the opportunity to act in several other Anime series including; “One Punch Man” as Mumen Rider, “Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans” (both now airing on Toonami), “The Seven Deadly Sins”, “Naruto Shippuden”, “Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works”, “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure”, “Sword Art Online 2”, “Durararax2”, “Lupin the 3rd”, “Aldnoah Zero”, “Your Lie in April”, “Glitter Force”, “Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals”, and continues to reprise his role of Mamoru in “Sailor Moon Crystal”. 

Robbie currently stars as the series lead in two shows on Nickelodeon: “Breadwinners” and “Get Blake.”  Robbie also currently stars on Disney XD’s Spider-Man in his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. He has guest-starred on such shows as: “Star Wars Rebels”, “Avengers Assemble”, “Transformers: Rescue Bots”, “Ever After High”, “Little People” and “The Tom & Jerry Show”. He has also voiced characters in several feature films, including Toneri Otsutsuki in “Naruto the Last”, Porta in “Patema Inverted”, Lino is “Gundam the Origin III” and the Fairy Cronies in “Strange Magic”, among others. Chris Patton has been voice acting for 18 years. His credits include over 250 Anime titles, including projects for ADV Films, Funimation Entertainment, Sentai Filmworks, Okratron 5000, and more.

Credits include: Fullmetal Alchemist (Greed), Soul Eater (Asura) Akame Ga Kill (Run), Diabolik Lovers (Ayato), Hamatora (Moral), Skip Beat! (Ogata), Full Metal Panic (Sousuke Sagara), Ghost Stories (Hajime), Dimension W (Haruka Seameyer), The Wallflower (Ranmaru), Cross Ange (Embryo), the recently announced Drifters (Abe No Seimi) and Aoharu X Machinegun (Toru), and many more. 

In the world of video games, he can be heard as the lead character Asahi in the upcoming Akiba’s Beat, Turles in Dragonball Xenoverse 2, and as Turles in the entire Dragonball Z franchise. 

Chris has also narrated over 150 audiobooks, including the novelizations of Guardians of the Galaxy, and Tron: Legacy. 

In the world of live theatre, Chris has been in over 60 shows, and now works as a theatrical director, having recently directed the regional premiere of Green Day’s American Idiot, the Houston premiere of Silence! The Musical, and the world premiere of a live workshop adaptation of The Moody Blues’ Days of Future Passed. 

Veloci-Rainbow, also known as Artemis in the cosplay community, is a native to southern conventions and cosplay community, she has been cosplaying for 7+ years and drawing for most of her life, cosplay is a great passion for her being able bring a character to life is just scratching the surface. 

Anime Blast Chattanooga is a three-day convention that aims to entertain, educate, and encourage a diverse group to band together and grow in their fandom. By hosting interesting guests and holding engaging panels and events, Anime Blast Chattanooga has left its mark, and continues to do so, on the anime community, said officials. 

To secure tickets for the event, attendees may purchase 3-day tickets at-the-door for $45 or 1-day tickets at-the-door - Friday $25, Saturday $30, or Sunday $20.
