Henrietta Williams, born November 2, 1931, in McCormick, South Carolina, passed on April 8, 2017 in Chattanooga.

She was employed and retired from Provident, Chattem and STS, was a faithful member of the Greater Nazarene MB Church where she served on the Mothers Board, Usher Board and Kitchen Committee until her health failed her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Williams; parents Napoleon and Molcy McCier; daughter Janie M. Ervin and brother Willie N. McCier.

She is survived by a son, Henry Patterson; daughters, Shirley (William) Johnson and Molcy (Eddie) Gore; all of Chattanooga; brother George (Mary) McCier of Abbevillie, SC; sisters Addie Moss, of Jamacia, NY, Mallie Jackson Frances (Milton) Williams, Molcy McCier, Elizabeth Lomax, all of Abbeville, SC; 12 grandchildren, Robert L. (Sharon) Jones of Crdeila, GA, James Jones of Hickory, NC, Christopher Evans of Syracuse, NY, Loretta Carter, Sara Mayes, Kimberly Patterson, Stacy Smith, Tina Lewis, Marcus (Eerica) Smith, Sr., LaTosha Patterson, Cedric (Natoshia) Ricks and Marketa Ricks of Chattanooga, Tn; 24 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 15, at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.

The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, and family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m.
