James “Bud” Lindsey, 88, a resident of Georgetown, Tennessee, passed away on Friday night, February 23, 2018.

He was born on August 24, 1929, to the late Pryor Lindsey and Laura Moreland Lindsey. Bud was a faithful member of the Standfield Baptist Church for 67 years. Many knew Bud from his lifelong work as a cattle farmer and for his kind and generous heart. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Arthur Lindsey and Nora Sipe.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Feb. 25, from 4-6 p.m. at the Standfield Baptist Church, at 1549 No Pone Road, Georgetown, Tn. 37336.

A celebration of life funeral service will follow the visitation, beginning at 6 p.m. at the church. 

Bud will be laid to rest on Monday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m. in the Standfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
