Jacob Carlson
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jacob Carlson, 24, who left this world far too soon.
Jacob brought light and laughter to all. His quiet, kindhearted, and thoughtful presence was his unique way of caring for those close to him. Jacob was a graduate of Chattanooga Christian School and attended Chattanooga State College. An avid Tennessee sports fan and pepperoni pizza connoisseur, the family asks that anytime you wear orange or eat pizza to remember him.
Jacob was preceded in death by his grandfather, William “Bill” Taylor and aunt, Tara Taylor Fuller.
Jacob is survived by his loving mother, Tamra Taylor; his beloved sister, Ellie Carlson; and his cherished grandmother, Carolyn “Mimi” Taylor; paternal grandparents, Rick and Terry Carlson. Others left to cherish his memory include: his uncle Tommy (Kim) Taylor; their two sons - Will (Bonnie) Taylor with sons Liam and Levi, and Josh (India) Taylor; uncle Frankie Fuller and his son Garrett Fuller and daughter Grayson (Brandon) Chatfield with children Ryleigh and Owen. Jacob was very close with his family and he leaves behind many other aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local animal shelter, MaryEllen Locher Breast Cancer Foundation, or American Heart Association in honor of Jacob’s generous and caring spirit. Jacob loved animals, especially his dog Rambo, and is now reunited with his childhood dog Rocky in heaven.
