Erlanger Express Care Facilities Offering Flu Shots

Thursday, October 10, 2019
Erlanger Express Care facilities are offering flu shots at all four of their walk-in locations.  Cost of the flu shots at Erlanger’s downtown, East Brainerd, Soddy-Daisy and Ringgold locations is $25 without insurance or free with most medical insurance plans.  No appointments are necessary and flu shots are available at all four sites after business hours on weekdays and on weekends.

"National health officials are urging all U.S. residents to get their flu shots and get them early," officials said.
"Latest tracking data suggests our country could face a particularly virulent flu season, and one that peaks earlier than usual.  California officials have already reported two flu deaths in September and other areas of the country are reporting flu cases.  A recent report from WalletHub noted that Tennessee has the second lowest vaccination rate in the country."

The CDC is recommending everyone six months or older get a flu vaccine by the end of October.

Erlanger Express Care offers four locations for Hamilton County and Ringgold residents:  9448 Dayton Pike in Soddy-Daisy; 1751 Gunbarrel Road in East Brainerd; 325 Market St. in downtown Chattanooga; and 6982 Nashville St. in Ringgold.  All locations are open seven days a week – Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m.-7 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m.-8 p.m.
