The Board of Friends of the Festival announced a newly formed partnership with Songbirds to produce Riverbend 2020. Songbirds and Friends of the Festival will collaborate on music production, marketing and other key components for the 2020 festival scheduled for May 27-30.
Further, the Board has appointed Mickey McCamish as Executive Director for the organization. Friends of the Festival Board President Mary Kilbride said, “Mickey has been with Friends of the Festival for over a decade and that experience will continue to be invaluable. The partnership with Songbirds presents added opportunities for Riverbend and our community in 2020.”
Johnny Smith of Songbirds said, “Songbirds is excited to announce the partnership with FOF on the same day as our fourth anniversary.
Songbirds is the largest vintage guitar museum in the world and operates two live music venues that immerse you in the instruments that made the music come alive. Riverbend is one of the oldest running festivals in the country and we are honored to be part of this historic Chattanooga event. Songbirds and FOF will collaborate with valued sponsors and strategic partners to bring an amazing event to our riverfront in 2020.”
