Collegedale Airport Offers Rides This Sunday

  • Wednesday, October 9, 2019

The Collegedale Municipal Airport will host its annual event offering rides this Sunday.  "For only $15, a person can experience the exhilarating feeling that only flying can deliver," organizers said.

“Held each year on the second Sunday of October, this event is designed to promote interest in aviation and community involvement through the airport,” said Chris Swain, director of Administrative Resources and Processes with Collegedale Airport.

The event is held rain or shine, as long as the clouds remain high enough for good visibility.  Ride times are from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.  For more information, contact the Airport at 423-236-5008 or the Flight School at 423-236-5151.
