Kenneth E. “Kenny” Brooks Sr., 69, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019, at his residence.

Kenneth was born on Oct. 6, 1950, to the union of Henry Brooks and Vivian Hillhouse Brooks. 

He attended Howard High School, worked for Parkridge Medical Center, was a veteran of the United States Army, and a member of South Chattanooga Lodge, #121. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Brooks and Vivian B. McCaleb; sisters, Linda Brooks and Denice Brooks; nephews, Victor Brooks and Tyran Cameron. 

Cherishing his memories are his sons, Kenneth E. (Erica), Brooks Jr., Kevin (Danicia) Brooks of Chattanooga and Keenan Bullock of Atlanta Georgia; daughter, Keisha (William) Wyatt McClain of Fort Wayne, Indiana; sisters, Dorothy (Billie) McKenzie, Debra (Larry) Daniels and Tanza Brooks, all of Chattanooga and Sheila Brooks of Chicago Illinois; step-daughter, Tamarya Cayton of Florida; uncle, Clarence Hillhouse of Phoenix Arizona ; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, devoted niece and caregiver, Wendy Wellington; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service in the chapel. Interment will be in Chattanooga National.
