In the largest McCallie Swimming and Diving Invitational in many years, with nearly 600 male and female prep swimmers and divers, McCallie claimed a third-place finish with 235 team points.
Blue Tornado senior All-American Will Jackson set a meet, pool and school record in the 200-meter freestyle in a time of 1:37.74. His record time is also an All-American automatic qualifying time.
Jackson also won the 500-meter freestyle in 4:33.48.
McCallie also had top-five finishes from Conor Kinley in the 50 freestyle (third) and the 100 freestyle (fourth), Kyle Berry in the 100 butterfly (fourth) and the relay teams – 200 freestyle (third), 400 freestyle (third) and 200 medley relay (fifth).
St. Xavier of Kentucky won the meet with 549 points. Dalton placed second with 293 points.
