Star, Producer Of The Walking Dead To Open Restaurant At The Choo Choo

  • Monday, November 4, 2019

The producer and star of the popular TV show The Walking Dead announced Sunday they plan to open their second Nic & Norman's Restaurant in Chattanooga.

Greg Nicotero, director and producer, said it will open in the spring at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. Norman Reedus, star of the show, is the other partner in the restaurant.

The first Nic & Norman's opened in 2016 at Senoia, Ga., where the show is produced.

Senoia is 30 miles south of Atlanta.

Nic & Norman's features soups and salads, appetizers, flatbreads, gourmet burgers, various entrees, and desserts.

Mr. Nicotero said they have been looking for their second site, first checking out Savannah.

He said they wanted "an iconic, historic place" and found it in the Choo Choo - the old train station that was converted to an entertainment complex.

AMC has announced there will be an 11th season of the popular zombie show.
