Volkswagen Chattanooga Hosts Inaugural BIODiversity Expo, Free Screening Of “Hidden Rivers Of Southern Appalachia”

Volkswagen Chattanooga will host its inaugural BIODiversity Expo on Saturday from noon-7:30 p.m. at the Volkswagen Conference Center, 8001 Volkswagen Dr. "This event brings the community together with more than a dozen regional organizations to learn about preservation and celebrate the unique environment of the region," officials said.
 
Family-friendly activities will be offered throughout the day, including craft stations, animal encounters, touch-see-feel activities and interactive learning opportunities.
 
Event schedule:
Noon-2 p.m. - Family-friendly activities
2-3 p.m. - “Hidden Rivers of Southern Appalachia” matinee screening
3-6 p.m. - Family-friendly activities
6-7 p.m. - “Hidden Rivers of Southern Appalachia” screening with Q & A
 
Complimentary snacks and refreshments, including popcorn and lemonade, will be offered during the movie.
 
"Between screenings, attendees are invited to learn about the efforts of many local conservation and environmental groups located in the Tennessee Valley and how their work affects water and the rich, local biodiversity," officials said.
